In the first webinar of the MEDIARE Institute of 2021 we will have the HEALTH theme with José Luiz Barbosa Pimenta Junior and Alexandre Costa for a conversation about bioethics between a lawyer and a health specialist.

With the theme Bioethics, Law and Mediation: the proposal is to promote a conversation about the possibility of using hospital bioethics committees as a mediation space for resolving conflicts arising from the doctor-patient relationship, as well as encouraging the practice of mediation in the demands in which the possible medical error is discussed.

José Luiz is a Doctoral Student and Master in Public Law. Alexandre is a doctor, philosopher, Deputy Director of the Center for Bioethics and Applied Ethics at UFRJ (NUBEA).
